To those who attended our backpack school supply event, THANK YOU FOR COMING!! The Firefighters Association and our partners had a fantastic time and we were absolutely thrilled to be able to spend some time with you all, show off the firehall and help send the kids to school this year on a positive note. We really hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did, and we definitely think we saw some future-firefighters among you! Have a fantastic school year!

Ladders to Learning is a youth-oriented and education focused initiative started and directed by the Coaldale & District Volunteer Firefighter Association. We strive to recognize and meet the needs of the youth in the community we serve.
It's an event hosted in August by the Coaldale Volunteer Firefighter Associations 'Ladders to Learning' program at the firehall. We will be providing school supplies according to the lists provided by the schools in our community & according to grade. The event includes information & access to local community programs, firetruck tours, haircuts, snacks & more!
Graphing calculator lending library for high-school kids: We have supplied our local grade schools with Ti-83+ graphing calculators, which students can sign out & use as needed.
School "Hot-Lunch" support: Ensuring all kids can enjoy the school run hot-lunch programs while supporting the local schools own fundraising effort.
And More: We have more programs coming this year! stay tuned...
There are many ways you can help! We are always grateful for the support this amazing community offers us. If you would like to be a part of Ladders to Learning please visit our partners page or email info@ladderstolearning.ca
